October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Advocate
We propose, promote, and advise on policies and practices that enhance victim safety and empowerment while raising awareness of the need for prevention and intervention.
Educate
We provide technical assistance and training to member programs, law enforcement and community partners, as well as work with media and others to raise awareness of domestic abuse and the need for prevention and intervention.
Collaborate
We work closely with community-based victim service providers, key stakeholders, policy makers and community partners to provide comprehensive, trauma-informed, statewide services and responses. A membership structure is utilized to ensure the voices of survivors and local communities remain central to our work and mission. Membership is comprised of nonprofit victim service agencies and other allied agencies across Utah.
Connect
We operate a 24-hour confidential hotline, known as the LINK Line: 1-800-897-LINK (5465), that offers trauma-informed support and connects survivors, friends, family, service providers and others to local resources.
Maintaining a positive mindset is essential as you navigate through life's journey. Remember to recognize that the challenges that you encounter are merely opportunities for progression and development on your trajectory toward something more significant.
One powerful technique for simplifying our lives and inviting inner peace is to become a master at quieting the distractions that impede our advancement toward cultivating harmony within ourselves.
We humbly ask you to donate what you can and unite with us in our effort to provide assistance and a sense of EASE to women whose lives have been impacted by adversity.
