EASE International was born from a personal journey of survival, faith, and the deep desire to create lasting change. Originally founded as Encouraging Another Sister’s Excellence, EASE began by offering support and resources exclusively to women who had experienced domestic violence. As a survivor herself, our founder, Aquana Raffington, built the foundation of EASE on the Qur’anic promise:

“Verily, after every hardship comes ease.” (Qur’an 94:6)

What started as a support network for women quickly revealed a larger, urgent truth—the impact of domestic violence extends far beyond the survivor. It affects children, families, and entire communities for generations. As Aquana witnessed the lasting emotional effects on her own children, she recognized the need for a broader, more inclusive mission.

In 2025, EASE redefined its name and purpose:
Equipping All to Succeed and Evolve.

This shift marked a powerful evolution. We now serve men, women, and youth, focusing not just on recovery but on breaking generational cycles of abuse, trauma, and silence. Our work is guided by the Seven Dimensions of Wellness—emotional, physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, environmental, and occupational—ensuring a holistic approach to healing and transformation.

Today, EASE operates in Georgia and Massachusetts, with plans for national expansion. Through initiatives like Breaking the Cycle, community outreach events, and partnerships with schools and local agencies, EASE is building a movement rooted in hope, education, and action.
